2023 – 2024 Fundraising Opportunities

Why Support? 

Without community support our club couldn’t be as successful as it is. As a 501(c)3, the Bismarck Figure Skating Club/Capital Ice Synchro relies on sponsorships and fundraising to make our program affordable and open to all skaters. The funds offset the costs for dresses, competitions, coaching, and travel. Higher level teams will travel to competitions such as Midwest Sectionals in Kalamazoo, MI; and Nationals, if they qualify.

As a sponsor you do more than support local skaters. Our sponsors also benefit from reaching thousands in the Bismarck-Mandan area and beyond through our social media posts, advertising options, events, and many other opportunities that can be customized to fit your goals and budget.

Sponsorship Details & FAQs

  1. Platinum Exclusivity – At this level, we offer categorical exclusivity. No other competing business will be able to sponsor at this level once sponsorship contracts are signed. This does not provide exclusivity across other levels of sponsorship. This level comes with a 3-year contract. There is a limit of three logos on the jacket. First to be placed on the spreadsheet as a confirmed sponsor will receive the spot. First right of refusal from previous contract year. 
  2. Gold Sponsorships – This level comes with a 3-year contract. There is a limit of 3 total sponsors on the jacket. First to be placed on the spreadsheet as a confirmed sponsor will receive the spot. First right of refusal from previous contract year. 
  3. Additional Exclusivity – Due to the nature of the program, the number of skaters, and the need, we cannot offer exclusivity at other sponsorship levels.
  4. Contract – For information regarding the contract, please reach out to your club representative for a copy.
  1. Puffer Coats – Every skater within the Capital Ice Synchro Program (the club) must get a club jacket. The club will place platinum sponsor embroidered logos on the left chest of each puffer jacket for each skater participating in the program. Limit 3. 
  2. Skate Bags – Each skater has a skate bag. The club will provide each skater with a bag tag with platinum sponsor logos.
  3. Warm up Jackets – Each of our top four teams must have a warm up jacket, as offered by the club. These jackets are worn on ice throughout the season. The club will place gold sponsor logos on the left chest of each warm up jacket for each skater participating in the program. Limit 3. 
  4. Team Shirts – Each year, teams are provided with a shirt that fits their theme. They wear them to practice, competitions, and during team events. Logos are one color and coordinate with the shirts. All logo placement is the expense of the club. The following summarizes the details of logos on shirts further.
    1. Platinum Sponsors: One logo on the back of every team shirt is a prime location
    2. Gold Sponsors: One logo on the back of every team shirt is a prime location
    3. Silver Sponsors: One medium logo on the back of one team’s shirts (of sponsor’s choosing) or one small logo on the back of two teams’ shirts (of sponsor’s choosing)
    4. Bronze Sponsors: One small logo on the back of one team’s shirts (of sponsor’s choosing) or company name on the back of two teams’ shirts (of sponsor’s choosing)
    5. Pewter Sponsors: name on the back of 1 team’s shirts

All logos must be received no later than August 15, 2024 for inclusion on team shirts

  1. Each year the club hosts three events with sponsor recognition opportunities. The following recognition is available at each event.
    1. Capital Ice Synchro Classic
      1. Live Stream – [company name] livestreams the competition with replays throughout the winter. During the livestream the following are available:
        1. Logo recognition
        2. Name recognition
        3. :30 Commercial (provided by sponsor)
      2. Banners – banners with logos and names will be displayed in the event lobby
      3. Sponsors will be mentioned throughout the event by our emcee. Special messaging may be offered, with prior approval, depending on sponsorship level.
      4. Crowd Engagement – During designated times, a sponsor can engage the crowd. Coordination and pre-approval of specific engagement activities are required.
      5. Sponsors will receive tickets to the competition. All tickets will be available on the day of the comp.
    2. Capital Ice Synchro Exhibition– a community event to see our teams before they begin the travel season for Synchro.
      1. Banners – banners with logos and names will be displayed in the event lobby
      2. Sponsors will be mentioned throughout the event by our emcee. Special messaging may be offered, with prior approval, depending on sponsorship level.
      3. Crowd Engagement – During the Zamboni break, a sponsor can engage the crowd. Coordination and pre-approval of specific engagement activities are required.
      4. Photo with the Team – Get a photo with the team during the exhibition. Times will be very specific and representatives’ names are required a week in advance for coordination. We will showcase our sponsors’ photos on social posts. The sponsor is encouraged to bring a banner or sign with the company name for the photo.
      5. VIP seats will be designated with company names/logos.
    3.  Bismarck Figure Skating Club Ice Show – the largest annual ice show in North Dakota, this 4-day event draws hundreds.
      1. Banners – banners with logos and names will be displayed in the event lobby
      2. Sponsors will be mentioned throughout the event by our emcee. Special messaging may be offered, with prior approval, depending on sponsorship level.
      3. Crowd Engagement – During the Zamboni break, a sponsor can engage the crowd. Coordination and pre-approval of specific engagement activities are required.
      4. Tickets will be available at the door. VIP seats are for one show only.
      5. Ice Show Program Ads – Higher-level sponsors will receive premier placement in the ice show book. Ads are full color and provided by each sponsor. We will be in touch in January 2024 to start collecting ads.
  1. Social Media – Sponsors will be tagged in social posts depending on sponsorship level. If there is a specific sponsor message you want shared, please contact [x] with message details.
    1.  Video, photo, and other creative content will be created as the club logically can.
    2. A specific team may create a specific message for a sponsor with coordination with the club and coaches. We cannot do this within a week of a competition, two weeks of nationals, or while at a competition.
    3.  Live socials are available with prior coordination.
  2.  Email to club members & families – the club will send out an email to synchro families. We will not provide our list to sponsors. Content must be provided by the sponsor and approved by the director and board representative.
  3. Website – Sponsors will be featured on the website with links to their designated sites.
  4. Team Snap – Team Snap is our club communication tool. Sponsors and links will be included for the teams and club.
  5. Team Folders – Each member received a digital team folder at the beginning of the season. Sponsors can place a digital flier, provided by the sponsor, in each folder. A comprehensive list of sponsors will be provided to each team member.
  1. Team Appearances – A one-hour team appearance is available with 60% of the team in attendance. Dates must be coordinated at least a month in advance, cannot be during school hours, or during club “blackout” dates when teams are preparing for competition. All events must be family-friendly.
  1. Tickets – Tickets will be available at will-call at each event. Reserved seating will be available for family and friend sponsors at each event. Seats will be marked with the sponsor’s name.
  2. Team Photo – Sponsors will receive a team photo of the team of their choosing. This will be given to the skater you are supporting for delivery.  

Raffle

Ticket sales start in May and run until August 9. From September 30 through October 27, on selected days, we will be drawing winner names, sharing the opportunity further. They will be drawn at the VFW Sports Center and announced via the website and social media.

How much are tickets?

Tickets are $20 each. They are numbered and enter the paid ticket holder into our raffle drawing for cash prizes.
